With tax filings (probably) behind most of us, the question many are probably asking is: just how much money do CPAs make, anyway?
A new survey says CPA salaries are up about 9 percent from a year ago. Average salaries for senior CPAs is running about $91,000 nationally.
CPAs in public accounting – 42 percent of entrants – reported to SmartPros.com an average salary of $80,767.
Those in corporate finance represented 38 percent of entrants and reported a significantly higher average of $106,597.
