Inflation fears deflated

Core consumer inflation increased 0.1 percent in June, the Commerce Department said. The core personal consumption price index, a key measure of inflation that excludes energy and food prices, sits as 1.9 percent. Overall inflation grew in June to 2.3 percent, a 0.1 percent increase which marks the lowest monthly inflation rate since November.
