According to the U.S. Department of Labor , the country’s Import Price Index was unchanged in December.
The department said a 0.3 percent increase in non-petroleum prices was offset by a 0.6 percent decline in the price index for petroleum. U.S. export prices advanced 0.4 percent in December following a 0.9 percent rise in November.
