More than 2,000 job seekers turned out at a job fair yesterday at Worcester State University that was hosted by U.S. Senator Scott Brown.
More than 80 employers from across the region participated in the six hour-long fair, Brown’s office said. It was the second such event the state’s junior senator has hosted within the last several months.
Brown stopped by the student center, where the fair was held, to meet with job seekers and employers. “The more opportunities that job seekers have for face-to-face meeting with potential employers, the better their chances are of finding work,” he said.
