A recently restored Worcester home with a storied and mysterious past is up for sale or lease as office space.
Brokers say the 20 Edward St. property should bring $549,000 in a sale, and is leasing for $10 per-square-foot.
According to Worcester commercial broker Kelleher & Sadowsky Associates Inc. of Worcester, 20 Edward St., known as the Stephen Earle Home, was most recently a multi-family apartment complex and was completely restored to its original condition to provide office space.
The 4,000-square-foot home was home to a long line of prominent Worcester citizens, including city mayors. It is unknown when exactly the home was built.
