The Worcester-based Hanover Insurance Group Inc. appointed Mary Jeanne Anderson as its vice president of bonds.
As vice president of bonds, Anderson is responsible for the company’s U.S. bond operations including contract surety, commercial surety, and bond claims.
Anderson worked previously at Arch Insurance Group/Kemper Surety, where she was vice president and chief underwriting officer. She replaced Dick Van Steenburgh, who is set to retire in 2008. Until then, he will work as the company’s vice president of commercial surety.
