Hanover Insurance of Worcester has launched a second regional group in the western United States to build on the company’s increasing momentum with leading independent agents, the company announced.
The newly created Pacific Region will focus on sales in California, Washington and Oregon. In 2009, The Hanover launched operations in the west, led by John Casper, regional president. He will continue to lead operations in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and Texas. The Pacific group will be led by David Kuhn, who has joined The Hanover as regional president.
The Hanover said the company has built a book of commercial business that’s approaching $400 million since it began western operations less than three years ago.
