The Hanover Insurance Group Inc. of Worcester is making its business owner’s policy available in six new Western states and Washington, D.C.
The product is targeted at small businesses, and Hanover said it complements offerings for middle-market and specialty businesses.
The new states where the product will be offered are Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington, in addition to the District of Columbia.
The company is also expanding its “point of sale” system to those locations, making it easier for insurance agents to quickly quote and issue insurance policies.
The business owners policy also includes specific coverage for small technology businesses.
