Spencer-based Flexcon is hosting a ceremonial groundbreaking at its headquarters today at 3 p.m. to kick start the construction of a two-story, 20,000-square-foot building.
The new building will house a technology and innovation center for the company, which makes adhesive coatings. It has been designed to foster better collaboration among research and development teams at the firm.
Worcester-based Cutler Associates will be the construction manager on the project. It is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2012.
