Gas Prices Dip Again

Gas prices fell 2 cents in Massachusetts this week, according to AAA Southern New England.

Today’s survey by the firm found that the average price of self-serve, regular unleaded was $3.56 per gallon, which is 14 cents above the national average of $3.42. Prices in the area are down 10 cents in the past month but up 25 cents when compared with last year.

The range in prices in the Bay State is 40 cents, from $3.45 to $3.85.

The cost of a gallon of diesel fuel remained steady at $4.08 per gallon.
