Two months after she departed from her position as CEO of Spencer manufacturer Flexcon, Aimee Peacock has landed a new C-suite role at her former employer.
Peacock has re-joined Brooks Automation as the Chelmsford-based semiconductor manufacturer’s chief business transformation officer.
Peacock’s new role focuses on performance management, coaching, and mentoring, she said.
The role is “about being accountable for effective performance of the management system and providing coaching and mentoring on continuous learning that would result in stronger alignment and improved business execution,” Peacock said.
Peacock began working at Brooks Automation in 2015, ending her two-and-a-half-year tenure with the firm as CFO of its Brooks Life Sciences Division, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Peacock said she’s rejoining Brooks Automation during a time of growth and opportunity.
“They’re in a really exciting time as far as from a growth perspective, and so there was the opportunity for me to join this team and really help take my experience and drive the business forward,” Peacock said. “So taking my skillsets from the past and applying those within the Brooks team.”
Peacock was named among WBJ’s Power 100 in 2025 and 2024.
Peacock joined Flexcon as CFO in 2020, following her first stint at Brooks. By 2023, she had been named the company’s first female CEO, a position she held until November when the firm underwent an extensive executive overhaul.
Peacock declined to comment on her departure from Flexcon.
Along with Peacock’s departure, Flexcon’s Chief Operating Officer Nick Lupoli and CFO Matt Gardner left the manufacturer. That same month, Nick Tucci was named Flexcon’s new leader, and Morgan Ebin was picked as chief operating officer.
With 440 local employees as of the second quarter, Flexcon is Central Massachusetts’ eight-largest family-owned business, according to data collected by WBJ’s Research Department. Founded in 1956, the manufacturer produces coated and laminated films and adhesives, employing a total of 900 workers.
