According to the U.S. Department of Labor, 330,000 Americans applied for unemployment insurance coverage for the first time during the week ended Nov. 17.
That’s a decrease of 11,000 from the previous week. The 4-week moving average was 329,750, a decrease of 750 from the previous week.
The advance seasonally adjusted insured unemployment rate was 1.9 percent for the week ended Nov. 10, unchanged from the prior week.
