Wholesale sales fell 0.8 percent in February, according to the U.S. Commerce Department.
Sales have been on the increase since mid-2009, and the February level was still up 13.7 percent from the same month last year.
Inventories were up 1 percent from January and 12.7 percent year-over-year.
