Worcester-based Fallon Clinic has signed a letter of intent to acquire a diganostic imaging center located at 300 Grove St. from Diagnostic Health Corp. of Birmingham, Ala.
Fallon Clinic is expected to take ownership of the facility, formerly known as HealthSouth, on Jan. 1, 2008. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The acquisition of the center will add MRI capabilities to Fallon’s existing imaging services, the company said. Fallon currently operates an imaging center on Gold Star Boulevard in Worcester.
