Worcester Polytechnic Institute has landed a $75,000 grant to help the school continue supporting entrepreneurship within its engineering department.
The grant comes from the Wisconsin-based Kern Family Foundation.
This is the second such grant WPI has received from the foundation. The first was a $50,000 award, which funded the creation of a course at the school, Engineering Entrepreneurship and Innovation, as well as two workshops for faculty.
WPI also recently announced an endowed professorship in innovation and entrepreneurship established by the late Paul Beswick, WPI Class of 1957.
