Hopkinton-based EMC Corp. has formed a new information management consulting practice within its global services division.
The consulting practice is the result of EMC’s acquisition of BusinessEdge Solutions , a privately-held New Jersey-based IT industry and technology consulting firm. The acquisition was finalized today.
According to EMC, the new information management consulting division will be headed by BusinessEdge’s co-founders Peter Gibson and Shailendra Jain, and will focus on risk management, analysis and information management.
