Groton-based Electric Boat was awarded a $116 million contract modification by the U.S. Navy for Virginia-class submarine lead-yard services, development studies and design. Under the contract, the EB division of General Dynamics will handle design drawings, data, engineering and lead-yard services for each Virginia-class submarine.
