Waltham-based Walden Behavioral Care LLC is planning to open a clinic to treat people with eating disorders at the former home of Tatnuck Bookseller on Chandler Street.
The new facility – totaling 500 square feet – will offer outpatient treatment to adults 17 and older. Individuals needing more intensive care can be treated at Walden’s Waltham facility, which provides in-patient care, residential and partial hospitalization care.
Walden also operates a clinic in Northampton with further plans to expand.
Tatnuck Bookseller, located at 335 Chandler St., was a Worcester institution. The business closed in January 2006. Its Westborough location is still in operation.
