Littleton-based equestrian supply company Dover Saddlery Inc. reported a 124 percent increase in net income for the third quarter.
The company’s third quarter net income of $444,000 came on revenue of $19.9 million, a 15.8 percent increase over the $17.2 million reported for the same period a year ago.
So far this year, Dover has opened four new stores, and reported a 49 percent increase in retail store revenue. Same store sales increased 8.5 percent compared to the third quarter of 2006.
