Credit union CEO retiring after two decades

Following a tenure spanning more than 22 years at Leominster-based All One Credit Union, President and CEO Barbara Mahoney is heading into retirement at the end of the year.

Mahoney’s retirement, effective Dec. 31, will mark the end of her 45-year career beginning at the Bank of Boston, the credit union announced Tuesday.

“I am proud of what we have accomplished together and confident in the bright future ahead,” Mahoney said in a statement provided by All One.

All One has begun planning to select a new leader.

A graduate of Assumption College in Worcester, Mahoney first joined All One in 2003. She became the credit union’s senior vice president, human resources in 2010. Mahoney was promoted to chief operating officer in 2019 before being named CEO and president a year later.

“Having worked alongside Barbara both at the chamber and on the board of the Boys and Girls Club, I’ve seen firsthand how she leads, with genuine care, quiet determination, and an unwavering commitment to people,” Roy Nascimento, president and CEO of the North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce, said in a statement provided by All One.

All One is the sixth-largest credit union in Central Massachusetts, with $896.2 million in assets and 36,787 members as of March 2025, according to the National Credit Union Administration.

All One has Central Massachusetts branch locations in Clinton, Holden, Leominster, Sterling, and Worcester, with additional school-focused branches in Clinton High School, Fitchburg High School, Worcester Technical High School, and Wachusett Regional High School in Holden.
