Framingham-based NMS Communications posted total first quarter revenue of $19 million, and a $5.1 million net loss.
Company revenue fell 38 percent compared to the $30.7 million it reported for the first quarter of 2006. Also in the first quarter of 2006, the telecommunications technology company reported net income of $1.7 million.
The company said revenue has been slow to come from installations of its MyCaller products in India and the Middle East.
“Our first quarter results were slightly short of our expectations” said Bob Schechter, NMS chairman and CEO, but the “overall loss came in about as expected.”
