Respondents to last week’s poll overwhelmingly endorse more federal action to protect the trade secrets of American companies, in the wake of the recent Justice Department indictments of Sinovel Wind Group of China, and three individuals, all accused of stealing trade secrets from wind-energy products maker AMSC of Devens. After the indictments were announced, AMSC itself called on Washington to re-evaluate the nation’s trade relationship with China.
