For the seventh year in a row, Citizens Bank sits at the top of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s ranking of loans to small businesses in both Massachusetts and New England.
Citizens originated 384 loans, totaling nearly $16 million, in Massachusetts between Oct. 1, 2006 and Sept. 30 of this year. In New England, the bank originated 1,014 loans totalling more than $36.7 million.
