Future Goals
1. We will build the internal infrastructure needed to support the continued growth and long-term sustainability of our programs.
2. We will reach our $2.5 million capital campaign goal for the Mercy Centre, ensuring expanded services and upgraded facilities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
3. We will increase the number of participants served through the Mercy Centre by strengthening outreach and enhancing program offerings.
4. We will expand both the range of services and the client base in our Parent Aide Program to support more families in need.
5. We will complete the sale of the 25 West Chester Street property to allow for reinvestment in key service areas.
6. We will maintain the same level of support through our Emergency Services and other critical programs, despite anticipated government funding and program cuts.
7. We will continue to collaborate with partner organizations across Worcester County to ensure critical comprehensive, coordinated care for the most vulnerable populations.
Fundraising Opportunities
Partner with Us for the Bishop’s Holiday Dinners: The holidays are a time for warmth and connection. For many in Worcester County, however, they can be challenging. Join us in continuing The Bishop’s Holiday Dinners, a cherished tradition providing delicious meals and companionship to over 5,000 homebound seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those in need on Thanksgiving and Christmas. We provide these meals at no cost to participants so your support is imperative for us to continue this tradition.
Last year, thousands of volunteers made this possible. As community needs grow, so does the importance of your support. Here’s how you can make a difference:
• Business Sponsorships: Sponsorships offer valuable recognition for your company while supporting a vital community program. Contact lmorocco@ccworc.org to learn more.
• Monetary Donations: Every dollar helps us provide warm meals and friendly interaction.
• In-kind Donations: We welcome your contributions of food or supplies.
Beyond the holidays, you can also help us meet year-round community needs by donating school supplies, diapers, clothing, hygiene items, and non-perishable food. We welcome your generosity!

The Bishop’s Holiday Dinners: Join us in continuing The Bishop’s Holiday Dinners, a cherished tradition that provides delicious meals and companionship to over 5,000 individuals in need on Thanksgiving and Christmas. We provide these meals at no cost to participants which makes your contribution vital.

Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteering not only supports Catholic Charities Worcester County and brings hope to those in need, but it also strengthens our entire community. Whether you have a few hours a week or want to help with a special event, your impact will be felt.
You can help by picking up and delivering fresh food from the Worcester County Food Bank, assisting neighbors in our food pantries, or sorting donations to keep our clothing closets organized and accessible. Hosting a diaper or clothing drive is another great way to support families in need. During the holidays, you can help deliver and serve festive meals to spread joy. You can also volunteer alongside individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, making a meaningful difference in their daily lives.
While there is no age limit to volunteer, those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
