Future Goals

1. Diversify revenue streams in response to evolving government funding priorities and shifts in the philanthropic landscape.

2. All programs offer social-emotional learning supports to help members succeed academically, personally and in their community.

3. Improve outcomes for Worcester’s youth, including family stability, grades, graduation rate, and increasing teen jobs.

4. Building a new, state-of-the-art facility in Great Brook Valley through our “A Club to Call Home” capital campaign, expanding our daily capacity from 50 kids to 500. The new Club will also support the greater North Worcester community with programs for adults and families, as well as vital resources.

5. Grow our endowment to $10M by 2035 to ensure that we can offer a state-of-the-art facility, impactful programs and services, and stay on solid financial ground for another 136 years.

Giving Opportunities

Named gift opportunities are available at both the Harrington Clubhouse in Main South Worcester and our Great Brook Valley site, including sponsorship of a new community mural. Sponsors are also needed for our special events throughout the year. We conduct fall, year-end, and spring annual appeals via mail, and online giving is available 24/7 at www.bgcworcester.org/donate. Additional giving opportunities are featured in our monthly eNewsletter.

Individual and corporate donations of food, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and paper goods help sustain our food pantry, which remains open to all local families in need.
