Cannabis company Bountiful Farms is consolidating its Natick medical-only dispensary into its existing Framingham dispensary serving recreational customers.
Today is the final day of operation for Bountiful Farm’s Natick operations, with medical cannabis patients able to purchase products at the 315 Worcester Road store in Framingham store beginning Saturday.
The company said moving its medical-focused operations to the larger Framingham dispensary will improve access and product availability for customers, according to a press release issued Wednesday. All employees at the Natick store will be transferred to the Framingham location.
“Centralizing our medical operations in Framingham allows us to better support our patients today and into the future,” Bountiful CEO Jeff Barton said in the press release. “Since we opened our doors in 2020, our first priority has been to improve the lives of our patients, partners, employees, and the community. This transition gives us the space and infrastructure to expand access, deepen our product offerings, and deliver the level of care and consistency our medical community expects from Bountiful.”
Bountiful Farm’s decision to close its standalone medical dispensary in Natick and shift medical sales to Framingham comes as the number of medical cannabis patients in Massachusetts has declined from 102,344 in March 2023 to 75,860 as of this month, according to data included in meeting packets for the state’s Cannabis Control Commission.
Medical cannabis patients do not pay sales tax or additional cannabis-focused taxes, but require approval from a certified physician in order to obtain a state program registration card.
Bountiful Farms opened the Framingham dispensary and recreational-focused storefront in Rowley in the fall of 2025. The Framingham dispensary is located at a site which used to be home to UpTop dispensary, while the Rowley site was previously occupied by a Cape Ann Cannabis dispensary.
Bountiful Farm’s cultivation and production facility is located at its headquarters in Lakeville.
