Natick-based medical device company Boston Scientific Corp. has sold its aortic repair unit to TV2 Holding Co. of California for $30 million in cash.
The aortic repair unit was known as Boston Scientific Santa Rosa Corp. and was formerly known as TriVascular Inc.
In addition to the $30 million, Boston Scientific has been given the opportunity to purchase a minority interest in TV2.
Boston Scientific acquired TriVascular in 2005.
