Bitstream, the Marlborough-based mobile phone technology company, has launched its mobile web-browsing feature on the Android marketplace.
Previously only available in private beta versions, the program is now available for free download on the popular Android-based smartphones and tablets.
The company has increased revenues in recent quarters, and also its losses. Revenue rose 7 percent in the second quarter compared to the first quarter, but net losses climbed from $685,000 to $1.2 million. Most of the losses – $695,000 – were associated with the resignation of the company’s former CEO, Anna Chagnon, in May.
