Worcester’s Antigen Express, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Toronto-based Generex Technology, has received a Japanese patent for its cancer vaccine therapy.
The company’s technology enhances the immune system to recognize and destroy cancer cells in patients that have already had breast cancer to prevent recurrence.
Generex earlier this week announced that investors have purchased $2 million of the company’s convertible stock.
