Auburn’s American Alarm and Communications has purchased a small alarm company in Leicester named Alert Security Systems.
Alert Security has installed and continues to serve about 100 customers since its founding in 1984 by Edward Nelson.
American Alarm has more than 15,000 customers and has about 140 employees. The company will absorb all of Alert Security’s customers.
