Southbridge-based fiber optic component maker INCOM Inc. has acquired Paradigm Optics of Vancouver, Wash.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
INCOM said in a statement today that the acquisition will help it provide biometric identity products such as ultrasonic fingerprinting for homeland security vendors as well as new products for the display industry.
David Welker, the president and CEO of Paradigm, will continue to lead the Washington location as director of Polymer Products. He will report to INCOM President and CEO Michael Detarando.
