Future Goals

1. Continue as the employer of choice in health and human services by providing hiring incentives, competitive wages, a robust benefits package and by encouraging and supporting professional development.

2. Continue to provide the highest quality of services that are self-directed, community-focused, and consistent with our Core Values.

3. Lead the delivery of services and supports that promote community inclusion, including integrated competitive employment, residential options, and provide a full life in the community. 

4. Integrate cultural competency at every level within the organization through a vibrant and effective Diversity & Inclusion Council. 

5. Expand our use of technology, virtual learning, and social opportunities for supported individuals.

6. Continue to support sustainable humanitarian efforts in the home countries of our diverse staff through our Seven Hills Global Outreach affiliate. 

7. Strengthen our collaborations with statewide Accountable Care and Managed Care Organizations to provide optimum care coordination for individuals with long-term support and service needs.

8. Provide critical, enhanced behavioral health services with wraparound supports to promote health through healing for people of all abilities in our communities to BeWell.


Fundraising Opportunities

The Annual New Beginnings Charity Golf Tournament held in May, raises funds for the Community Connections program, providing social, competitive, and recreational opportunities for children and adults with disabilities. The tournament needs sponsors, donors, auction items, volunteers and golfers. 

The Annual Lori Lajoie Charity Golf Tournament needs sponsors, donors, auction items and volunteers each August. 

The Annual Bigger Dipper All-You-Can-Eat Ice Cream Festival each June needs local ice cream proprietor donors, sponsors, local talent, food donations, and volunteers at Elm Park in Worcester.

BINGO at Seven Hills Foundation raises funds for our various programs and services. Come play or volunteer on Monday, Thursday, or Saturday evenings. Doors open at 5:00 pm at 81 Hope Ave. in Worcester.

Donation remittance envelopes are inserted in the Annual Report and biannual Horizons newsletter.

Seven Hills Foundation sends out an annual appeal in late fall. 

Seven Hills Foundation seeks and submits grant proposals for funding for all affiliates and their various programs.

Donations of school and medical supplies as well as clothing gratefully accepted by Seven Hills Global Outreach (SHGO) for partners in eight developing nations around the world. 

Donations gratefully accepted for the Lori Lajoie and New Beginnings Charity Golf Tournaments as well as The Bigger Dipper Ice Cream Festival.

Seven Hills ASPiRE! Workforce Readiness & Employment Program seeks partnerships with local businesses to establish competitive employment opportunities.

Seven Hills ASPiRE! seeks volunteer opportunities in the local communities of Devens, Milford, and Worcester, Massachusetts—come share your talents!

Volunteer Opportunities

Family Services of Central Massachusetts’ Senior Care Volunteer Program recruits adults, aged 55 and over, to connect one-on-one with seniors who need assistance with activities of daily living and can benefit from socialization and friendship. 

Family Services of Central Massachusetts’ RSVP Volunteer Programs, part of a nationwide network of nearly 200,000, recruits adults, aged 55 and over, to share their talents, skills, and life experiences with their communities in various capacities.

YOU, Inc., specializing in behavioral health and education, is in need of volunteers to share their talents, from casual hobbies to their life’s passion for the benefit of the agency’s participants, clients, or the community.   

BINGO at Seven Hills Foundation, 81 Hope Ave. in Worcester, needs volunteers to run our vibrant games on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday nights. Various volunteer positions are available; contact Bill Stock at bstock@sevenhills.org for more information.

Seven Hills ASPiRE! day programs for adults with disabilities are always seeking a wide array of specialists on-site to volunteer their time to teach and socialize with participants.

Seven Hills’ Family Support Centers in Fitchburg, Sturbridge, Lowell, and Athol fill their event calendars with trainings, information sessions, workshops, creative activities, etc., with a call to volunteer experts in various fields to bring their knowledge and talent on-site or out in the community.
