Estate Preservation Law Offices: Specialized Estate Planning Services With a Personal Touch

Brendan J. King Attorney and Founding Partner; Linda T. Cammuso Attorney and Founding Partner

As specialists in the estate planning field, Estate Preservation Law Offices (EPLO) understands that the legal documents attorneys draft – wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney – are merely tools of the trade that guide professionals as they properly apply them to a person’s unique situation. With the expertise to navigate the complex planning issues facing our clients, our approach is to provide a custom analysis of each client’s circumstances, strategize the best course of actions, and carefully develop our recommendations.

In addition to estate planning and asset protection, EPLO offers a full array of traditional estate and trust administration services; elder law and Medicaid; special needs planning; probate services, including estates and guardianships/conservatorships; corporate and small business planning; charitable planning; equine and pet trust services; and tax planning.

Our personable and efficient staff members share our vision for client service that includes prompt and proactive communication and respect for our clients’ goals and timelines.  At EPLO we foster teamwork, ongoing professional development and education, and constantly refine our work products and processes. All staff exhibit proficiency and professional talent blended with ethics, compassion, and relatability. As our client base has grown and their needs have become more diverse, we’ve more than doubled our staffing since 2009.

We are committed to staying on top or ahead of industry trends and continue to embrace opportunities to grow the practice geographically as the post-pandemic environment has made it easier than ever to serve clients both in person and remotely. In 2017, we acquired the Law Office of Carrie Dolmat-Connell, in Princeton, Massachusetts. EPLO entered a business agreement in 2018 with the Cove and Hogarth Law Firm to acquire its trust and planning, elder law and probate practice areas. EPLO also maintains satellite offices in Braintree, Cape Cod/Islands, Chicopee, Leominster, and Uxbridge.

According to partners King and Cammuso, “The acquisitions mark a strategic step forward in Estate Preservation Law Offices’ growth plans and continues the expansion of market reach across all areas of the state.”

Attorney Brendan J. King has been recognized three times as a Massachusetts Rising Star by Super Lawyers and is a past recipient of Worcester Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 award. With a long history of community outreach, he has served on the board of several nonprofit organizations, including Forward in Health, Worcester Art Museum and Worcester State University Foundation.

A past recipient of Worcester Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 award, Attorney Linda T. Cammuso received its Outstanding Women in Business Award in 2019. She has served on the board of directors for various nonprofit organizations, including Girls Inc. of Worcester, Luk Inc., Spring House, and the Greater Worcester Community Foundation.

With the escalating social and economic challenges so many are facing, we expect the estate planning field to remain a critical service for our current and future clients and their loves ones – whether in the area of taxes, aging, special needs, creditor protection, and beyond. Our overall goals include making the legal process approachable and enjoyable, culminating in personal and long-lasting relationships with our clients.
