Framingham Security Firm Granted Patent

S2 Security Corp. of Framingham has been awarded a patent that covers the architecture of its entire product line.

The company develops network-based security systems for access control, alarm monitoring, temperature monitoring, video and intercom. The systems allow a facility's security to be managed from anywhere over computer networks.

S2 said it expects more patents to be issued for the company's products in the coming months. The company's security network systems are used by 7,000 clients in 50 countries, the company said.
