Lancaster human-services nonprofit RFK Community Alliance, has hired Jessica Pepple to be the organization's first chief diversity and culture officer.
People joins RFK Community Alliance, from the King Philip Regional School District in Norfolk, Plainville, and Wrentham, where she served as regional director of diversity, equity and inclusion since May 2021.
“I am beyond honored and excited to be in this position. In my prior positions, I’ve devoted a considerable amount of time, effort, and service to establishing a culture of belonging and inclusivity for all community members. I look forward to beginning a new journey with RFK Community Alliance that will impact opportunity, access, and equity for everyone in this organization,” Pepple said in a Tuesday press release.
The hiring follows a two-year process within the organization, supported by a DEI consultant.
“We are thrilled to have Jessica join our team. She will help ensure that we are the most diverse, inclusive, and equitable organization we can be, and will hold us accountable to continue our efforts to build a culture that supports inclusion at all levels,” Michael Ames, RFK Community Alliance president and CEO said in the press release.
