Bajrami Campoverde founded Golden Group in 2011 while still attending WSU, seeing a need for a roofing firm to focus on concierge customer service – using the hospitality lessons she learned while working at her family’s restaurant since age 14. Since its opening, Golden Group has achieved a compound annual growth rate of 92.8 percent, opened offices in Worcester and Westborough and won awards from Angie's List and America’s largest asphalt shingle manufacturer.
She volunteers on WSU's foundation board and the Massachusetts Council for National Women in Roofing. She enjoys traveling with her husband, Freddy, and children, Chiara and Enzo.
Your best advice? When I was at my lowest point, my mother said, “Get up, go do it, fly low under the radar and never let them see you coming.”
