BJ's launches new mobile site

Westborough-based BJ’s Wholesale Club has launched a new mobile site, the first in a series of enhancements to its digital offerings.

The new site allows BJ’s members to manage their accounts online and to place online deli and bakery orders for pickup in as little as 36 hours. Members can access a service to reserve certain non-perishable items for store pickup in as little as two hours.

Rafeh Masood, senior vice president and chief digital officer at BJ’s, said the new site is an important step in the company’s omnichannel transformation. Masood joined the company earlier this year to drive strategy for those efforts.

Going forward, BJ’s plans to broaden the use of technology in its stores and continue to improve mobile and desktop sites.
