Looking for a place where they could provide steady employment for adult children with developmental disabilities, the Giammarinaros three years ago took over ownership of a two-year dormant miniature golf course and created a four-acre family entertainment center with mini golf, jumping pillow, snack bar and lawn sports. In order to bring their vision to life, the Giammarinaros partnered with other families like the LeBlancs from Hopkinton and the Banks from Walpole to get the operation up and running. Business grew 25 percent from 2015 to 2016.
Putts & More partners with local special needs programs – Milford Community Use Program, RCS Learning Center in Natick, Accept Education Collaborative in Natick, Crossroads School in Natick, The Learning Center for the Deaf in Framingham – to not only provide employment for those with special needs but to serve as a venue for fundraisers. The center offers off-hours golfing for seniors, mothers groups and special needs groups, and discounts for scouting, church and temple groups.
