As part of its annual Business Leaders of the Year awards, Worcester Business Journal has created a new Hall of Fame designed to honor those in the Central Massachusetts community with a lifetime of achievement in their careers.
“While the Business Leaders of the Year awards are meant to honor those who have had a successful year or string of years, the new WBJ Hall of Fame recognizes those with decades of contribution to the Central Massachusetts economy and community,” Editor Brad Kane said.
WBJ is soliciting nominations for the Hall of Fame now (click here to nominate someone), as part of the Business Leaders of the Year nomination process. The deadline is Jan. 20.
The Hall of Fame is part of an extension of the Business Leaders of the Year awards, which will honor the different contributions people are making to the Central Massachusetts business community. Also new this year will be the Innovators of the Year awards, in addition to the usual Business Leader of the Year award for large, small and nonprofit organizations and the Corporate Citizen of the Year award.
