GWCF goes about its influence in the community quietly, letting millions of dollars distributed to nonprofits and community organizations do the talking. Since the endowment was created in 1975, it grew to nearly 600 funds with more than $140 million, all overseen by Lisi.
More than $100 million in nonprofit funding has been awarded since the organization was started. More than $5 million was granted to nonprofits in 2015, including $600,000 going to local students for college tuition. These funds help to keep nonprofits and the integral services they provide to the community going.
