Worcester's Curtis hires Canadian country manager

Russell Hooper has been named Curtis Industry's Country Manager for Canada.
A Worcester company specializing in enclosures for small recreational and work vehicles announced a new position of Country Manager for Canada as the company looks to expand in the country.
Curtis Industries announced it hired Russell Hooper to the new position on Monday. Hooper, who has experience in dealer development and sales, will handle all marketing, sales and service activities in Canada.
“Expanding the product line and improving customer access to our products in Canada is an essential part of Curtis’ growth plan and I know my experience will help drive best-in-class service to our customers,” Hooper said in a statement.
The company, which started in 1968, also manufactures snow & ice control equipment for tractors and utility vehicles in addition to its enclosures. Curtis markets its products through OEM vehicle manufacturers and a large network of dealers in the United States and Canada as well as Europe and Asia. The company operates from a 160,000 sq. ft. facility in Worcester.
