From a customer base that spans from the collegiate sector to local and corporate businesses and an international influence with its second location in Ireland, Guertin Graphics & Awards began in Worcester and is patronized by the Greater Worcester community from the private sector to social service agencies. The multi-generational business has been supported by Central Massachusetts organizations for nearly 50 years and has produced the logos and products representing Worcester iconic symbols and celebrations over those decades. All work is performed by experienced craftsmen in its in-house production facility.
President John Guertin grew up in the business working for his father with his late brother, Jimmy. Today, John, the Guertin family and the company’s employees carry on the legacy of giving back to the community through various volunteer and giving efforts, regularly contributing to events like the Molly Bish Ride for Public Safety and having won such honors as the Cathy Donohue Good Neighbor Award for the 2014 Worcester St. Patrick’s Day Parade. John, a drummer, is known for committing his playing time for fundraisers and charitable events, currently playing for the Irish band Blackstone Cuil.
John is a justice of the peace and a notary public amd sits on the board of directors for the New England Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, which includes parks such as, Six Flags, Canobie Lake Park, The Big E., Fun Town Splash Town and Southwick’s Zoo.
