MICHELLE DENIO has been promoted and JAMES WHEELER and TELLY CASTERNOPOULOS hired at Information technology service provider Bryley Systems of Hudson. Denio was promoted to administrative support technician. She joined Bryley Systems in 2008 and is a resident of Clinton. Wheeler has been hired as an Internet marketing associate. He is the assistant clerk for the town of Berlin. Wheeler has a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Maine in Orono. Casternopoulos joins Bryley as service desk technician. He served with the U.S. Army for five years at the rank of sergeant. He was an air traffic control maintenance technician and served in the Information Management Office while stationed in Iraq.
MICHAEL WORHACH has been named to Southborough-based GlassHouse Technologies' board of directors. He is the founding partner of Boston-based Wax Myrtle, a company that helps other companies identify new markets in Asia. He was previously president and CEO of Sepaton in Marlborough.
KARINA ROBLES and was hired as a Realtor by ERA Key Realty Services in Worcester. She was most recently a teller with Bank of America and has also served as a loan processor and loan officer for Mortgage Opia, and as an account executive with Accredited Home Lenders.
MICHELLE HAYNES has been hired as a Realtor by ERA Key Realty Services in Franklin. She was previously with Platinum Properties. Haynes graduated from Massachusetts Bay Community College in Wellesley and has been in the real estate industry for 15 years.
GERALDO MALDONADO was hired by Marlborough-based Prudential Financial Inc., as a financial professional associate. He is a resident of Worcester.
JAMES A. VEVONE II was named partner at Worcester-based law firm Seder & Chandler. He was previously a senior associate and has been with the firm since 2004. Vevone is a graduate of Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y., and from Georgetown University's law school. Prior to joining Seder & Chandler, Vevone studied and worked in Japan.
JACOB A. SANDERS was promoted to associate director of government and community relations at Becker College's Office of Institutional Advancement. He has served in the Worcester college's Office of Advancement for nearly two years as an advancement associate. Previously, he worked as a research analyst for the Joint Committee on Public Service at the Massachusetts State House and also served as director of constituent services for State Rep. Robert P. Spellane. He holds a bachelor's degree from Ithaca College in Ithaca, N.Y.
MICHELLE BATA was named associate dean and director of Clark University's new Liberal Education and Effective Practice (LEEP) Center. Bata will lead the team of advisers that helps students identify co-curricular experiences that align with academic, personal and career ambitions. Previously, Bata was assistant dean and director of undergraduate research at Fordham University in New York City. She has a bachelor's degree in sociology and Hispanic studies from Boston College in Chestnut Hill. Bata earned both her master's and doctoral degrees in sociology from the University of Arizona in Tucson. She is a resident of Northborough.
JAMES E. ROUSE, WILHO J. MYLLYMAKI and PATRICK MULDOON were re-elected to the board of directors of Fitchburg-based Workers' Credit Union. Rouse will continue to serve as chairman of the board, John S. Ford of Lancaster as vice-chairman, John J. Morse of Lunenburg as clerk and Eric D. Shapiro of Lexington as assistant clerk. Rouse serves on the board of directors of the North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce and Mount Wachusett Community College Foundation. Myllymaki is the retired director of purchasing for United Cooperative Farmers Inc., formerly a regional cooperative serving farm entities based in Fitchburg. Muldoon is president and CEO of HealthAlliance Hospitals, a member of UMass Memorial Health Care.
RANDY HARRIS, BRYON GOGUEN, JOHN DIGGINS and JOANNE LATTANZI were recently promoted by Leominster Credit Union. Harris was promoted to assistant vice president of the treasury. He joined the credit union in 2004 as a financial analyst. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and earned a bachelor's degree in accounting. Goguen was promoted to assistant controller. He joined the credit union in 2009 as a financial analyst and graduated from Bentley University in Waltham with a bachelor's degree in corporate finance and accounting. Diggins was promoted to assistant vice president from contact center manager. Lattanzi was promoted to marketing manager and officer. She was previously director of marketing and public relations at The First National Bank of Ipswich.
DAVID H. WHITE was elected to succeed Kristine Bostek as chair of the board of directors of nonprofit Children's Friend Inc. in Worcester. He is president and CEO of R. H. White Construction Co. in Auburn. Other officers elected were ROBERT G. ORIOL, first vice-chair; DR. LENE JENSEN, second vice-chair; MICHAEL J. MULRAIN, treasurer; PETER DUPELL, assistant treasurer; DR. SUZANNE WEEKES, clerk; and DOROTHY A. DUDLEY, executive committee member-at-large. Three new directors were elected: MAURA ARMSTRONG, CYNTHIA HANLON and JOHN MCINNES.

Conery joined Avidia in 1989. He earned his MBA from Bentley University in Waltham. Sullivan joined the bank in 1995. She holds an MBA from Assumption College in Worcester. Janeiro was hired by Avidia in 2004. She holds a BSBA degree from the New England College of Business and Finance in Boston. Harrington joined Avidia Bank in 2008 and is the bank's controller and accounting manager.
